About Us
ProjectPort began with a
group of individual Project Managers who shared a common
enthusiasm for a best practices approach to client engagements - while being
able to consistently bring the client's projects to a successful
completion on time and within budget.
Current Structure and
Practitioners
ProjectPort is current organized in a way that is
similar to what you would find among medical specialists in a hospital.
The hospital, like ProjectPort itself, provides a framework and mechnism for the delivery of
services. However, the services themselves are provided by the professionals
who are simply working in conjuction with hospital - or, in
our case, with ProjectPort. In ProjectPort's case, practitioners could be either
consultants working with ProjectPort or they could be equity partners within
ProjectPort.
Benefits of our Structure to our
Clients
Our structure allows
our clients to select the indiviual practitioners with whom they
wish to work. This is often done through a series of interviews - as the
Project Manager is brought on board for an engagement. After he or she is
selected, some companies will elect to have the Project Manager select the
other members of the team - with, of course, the client's approval. Other
clients want to take a more hands-on approach and interview each and every
team member that will be working on their tasks. ProjectPort welcomes
either approach.
